ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
The married couple Eli Margrete Stølsvik og Knut Arne Nygaard are the owners and hosts at the guesthouse. We have re-established the old coastal station from 1771, in the heart of Skudeneshavn, and we are now running it as a modern eatery and guesthouse.
“We like our guests to feel at home!”
We are enthusiastic and goal oriented hosts. In connection with the inn we are also building an exciting arena for art and culture in the old herring processing facility "Blondefabrikken."
We'd like to welcome you as our guest!
Skudeneshavn
The old coastal town of Skudeneshavn is located on the southern tip of Karmøy, which is the homestead of the Vikings. If you visit us here, we guarantee you will experience a unique environment. This small town of incredibly well-cared for wooden houses , most of them built in the mid 1800s. Skudeneshavn was granted the Norwegian Culture emblem “Olavsrosen” in 2016 and has been awarded at the Summertown of Norway many times. The town is now in the process of being protected by the National Antiquarian society. Although surrounded by beautiful rocky shorelines, the streets, alleyways and parks of the old town are very sheltered in the rugged terrain.
